Your Monday route already exists. It's just not saved anywhere.

routing dispatch

Ask a dispatcher how Tuesday's regular run gets built, and the honest answer is usually: the same way it got built last Tuesday. Same stops, roughly the same order, rebuilt from memory or last week's printout, with whatever's changed patched in by hand.

That rebuild is invisible work. It happens every week, it takes real time, and it depends on the one or two people who've done it enough times to do it fast. If they're out, the run either waits for them or gets built by someone slower and less sure of the stop order.

The stops didn't change. The order barely changed. What's missing isn't a better way to plan the run — it's a place to save the plan that already exists, so building it stops being a weekly ritual.

RouteFast stores a master route as its own record: a named, reusable template holding a set of stops, kept separately from any single day's actual deliveries. It can be opened, edited, and reused rather than reconstructed.

A dispatcher can already assign a driver to a master route today — that link is real. What the template doesn't do yet is optimise the stop order for you; that's further down the road. What changes today is smaller and more immediate: the time a dispatcher spends most Monday mornings rebuilding something that already existed doesn't have to happen again.

If your standing routes are "the same as last week, adjusted," they're already templates. The only question is whether anything is treating them like one.
